Who is behind KeyTime®?

KeyTime® is a Swiss watch brand founded by two friends passionate about watchmaking. Their ambition: to offer something different, with a consistent and locally anchored approach.

Where are your watches designed and assembled?

Each watch is designed and assembled by hand in Geneva, in a workshop located at the home of one of the co-founders.

This allows us to retain a high level of independence throughout the key stages of development, from modeling to final assembly.

Where are your watches manufactured?

All components, except for the strap and buckle, are made in Switzerland.

The strap, made of Cordura fabric with a rubber lining, is manufactured in Portugal by a Swiss supplier.

The buckle is produced in Germany.

All other elements are exclusively Swiss-made.

What are the technical specifications?

• Case: Nylon 12 (3D SLS – vapor smoothed) with a steel insert (black PVD) for movement housing
• Crown: Black PVD-coated stainless steel
• Crystal: Scratch-resistant polymer
• Movement: Solar quartz, battery lifespan over 8–10 years
• Strap: Cordura fabric with a rubber lining, quick-release spring bars, black pin buckle, 18 mm lug width

What is the difference between Atelier and Icône?

Our watches are divided into two distinct universes:

• Atelier brings together our most original creations, often produced as small series, limited editions, or one-of-a-kind pieces. They embody artistic freedom and creative expression.
• Icône offers a more minimal design, featuring a small illustration on the lower part of the dial. A quieter look, with the same attention to detail.

Are the watches water-resistant?

Water-resistance tests are currently underway. Initial results are promising, but we will confirm the official rating once fully validated.

Are the dials hand-drawn?

Yes. Each dial is illustrated by a human artist.

In a time when artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly widespread, we've chosen to celebrate human craft and sensitivity by collaborating with a design studio to create distinctive, heartfelt pieces.

Can I use a different strap?

Yes. The standard 18 mm lug width allows for compatibility with most third-party straps. Quick-release spring bars make it easy to change the strap without any tools.

Do you offer custom watches?

No. For strategic and logistical reasons, we do not offer customization.

This helps us maintain consistency across each model and focus on thoughtfully developed series.

Orders and Payment

How can I place an order?

Orders can only be placed through our official website. We do not sell through any other channels.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may use:

• Klarna (buy now, pay later – subject to approval)

Can I modify or cancel my order?

If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us promptly using the email provided in your confirmation message.

Shipping

What shipping options do you offer?

• Delivery via Swiss Post
• Optional local delivery in the canton of Geneva using our Microlino vehicle

When will my order be shipped?

We ship as soon as possible, depending on the volume of current orders.

We always strive to keep lead times short without compromising quality.

What are the shipping fees?

Shipping is free for all orders over CHF 100. For smaller orders, shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.

Warranty and Returns

What is the warranty period?

All our watches are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Can I return a watch?

Because our watches are produced in small series, limited editions, or one-off pieces, we do not offer returns by default. However, we review each request individually. Feel free to contact us if needed.

Do you provide after-sales service?

Yes. We offer repair services even beyond the warranty period. A quote will always be provided before any work is carried out.
